We got the rental house cleaned out and hit the road last Tuesday. We had several stops along the way to visit family and arrived in Bayfield Saturday. Our first view of Lake Superior at Duluth gave us both butterflies. Noodin had already arrived and was waiting for us at the Apostle Islands Marina in Bayfield. It’s a very protected Marina right in town and should be conveniently located. We got some work done today and will move aboard (on the hard) tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll launch in a week or so and can begin exploring by water.

did you refinish the wood inside? Looks pretty nice!

No we haven’t refinished anything yet. Thankfully she was lightly used and the woodwork is mostly in really good shape. We have a few areas with some sun damage that we’ll try to spruce up when we have time.
